Did you know that I can read your mind through this blog? It’s true! close your eyes and think of a perfect vacation getaway.
Hmmm, I bet you’re thinking of someplace warm with let’s see…beautiful sandy beaches? How about warm water that’s sparking blue? So blue, in fact, that there isn’t a name for it exactly. Cerulean, periwinkle, and even Navy don’t quite do it justice. Tropical fruit, good food, and just enough activities probably rounds out your vacation.
See, I told you I could read your mind! I probably got about 75% of your fantasy right and that’s because I live in paradise.
Well maybe not paradise exactly but it’s pretty close. Hawaii is the stereotype for most vacations– it’s the place you subconsciously (or maybe even consciously) fantasize about when you think of getting away.
I am sad that I’ll be leaving the great state of Hawaii in just 27 short days. It has been such a remarkable place to live. No filters, photoshopping, or Instagram is required to enhance or improve upon the natural beauty of the islands. We went to Kauai this weekend and the Na Pali coast was truly stunning. It looks a lot like Middle Earth from LOTR. The panoramic beauty of Hawaii never fails to bring to mind Psalms 19:1-5
Psalm 19:1-2 (KJV)
[The heavens declare the glory of God; and the firmament sheweth his handywork.]
2. Day unto day uttereth speech, and night unto night sheweth knowledge.
3. There is no speech nor language, where their voice is not heard.
4. Their line is gone out through all the earth, and their words to the end of the world. In them hath he set a tabernacle for the sun,
Beautiful photos!
