Call of Duty
Earlier this week, Activision released the Season 3 Reloaded update content for Call of Duty: Warzone and Vanguard. The name for the update, Classified Arms, goes hand-in-hand with most of the content that’s coming to players.
There’s a new Operator, additions to the Warzone map, regular patch notes and, of course, a new weapon. The weapon is a submachine gun called the H4 Blixen. Players can use it in both Warzone and Vanguard and unlocked it the same way in both games.
While the Season 3 Reloaded update won’t go live until later this week, players can find out how to unlock the weapon ahead of time so they know exactly what to do when the update drops. Activision has stated that Season 3 Reloaded will release in the afternoon on Wednesday for both Warzone and Vanguard. However, Vanguard will receive an update with the changes in the patch notes a day before, which means the new SMG could be unlocked as early as then.
Unlocking the H4 Blixen in Warzone and Vanguard
As with any mid-season weapon, the H4 Blixen is unlocked by completing an in-game challenge. The challenge this time around will be the following:
- Get three slide kills in a single match 15 times
For any experienced Warzone or Vanguard player, this shouldn’t be too challenging. However, if players don’t want to go through that trouble, they can also purchase an in-store bundle for the H4 Blixen.
It’s unclear exactly what the bundle will cost or contain but it will definitely feature the new SMG. Buying this bundle allows players to immediately gain access to the weapon and they can then begin leveling it up and unlocking camos. The H4 Blixen acts similarly to the Owen Gun from Vanguard, featuring a slower fire rate but high damage range.
